Meet The Owners
Barry Sanders, along with his wife Jenny, are the owners of Community Christian Day School. It was laid on their hearts in 2008 to build a Day School in Smyrna to teach children about Jesus. It was conceived as a preschool and early childhood development center of the highest quality, designed to provide a nurturing environment where children can thrive, to be a support to the busy parent, to be a great place for professionals to work and to be a resource to the community.
Barry Sanders attended Volunteer State Community College and MTSU. He received his Real Estate Affiliate Broker’s License in 1987 and received his Real Estate Broker’s License in 1997. For 19 years Barry has sold new homes for Phillips Builders/Beazer Homes. Since 1991, Barry has received over 20 Awards of Excellence. He has also achieved the Dream Series Sales Leader of the Year for Phillips Builders, Vintage Sales Leader of the Year for Beazer Homes, and was presented the Silver Award in recognition of the top 50 new home sales agents in the United States from The National Sales and Marketing Council. Now, Barry and Jenny own Sanders Realty LLC.
Barry believes Psalms 78:4-8 is the foundation that CCDS was built on. “We will not hide the truths from our children, but will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord. We will tell of His power and the mighty miracles He did. For He issued His decree to Jacob: He gave His law to Israel. He commanded our ancestors to teach them to the children so the next generation might know them even the children not yet born-that they in turn would teach their children. So the next generation can set its hopes anew on God, remembering the glorious miracles and obeying His commands. They they will not be like their ancestors-rebellious, stubborn and unfaithful, refusing to give their hearts to God.”
Jenny Hodge Sanders, along with her husband Barry, are the owners of Community Christian Day School.
