Katie Hamilton

Katie Hamilton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Middle Tennessee State University. 

Her experience includes working with children at her church, teaching Kindergarten in Rutherford County Schools, and teaching at CCDS for many years.

Katie states the following regarding her philosophy of education: “Education is the key in teaching children how to learn, not necessarily just what to learn. It stirs creativity and individualism while also encouraging teamwork, cooperation, and understanding to new perspectives and mindsets. Education is foundational in building character, showing one’s potential and understanding one’s purpose.” 

Katie’s favorite scripture is Psalm 90:14 which states “Satisfy us in the morning so we may sing of your unfailing love.” Katie is a member of Christ Life Church.
