Jenny Hodge Sanders

Jenny Hodge Sanders, along with her husband Barry, are the owners of Community Christian Day School.  Jenny is a graduate of Smyrna High School and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary and Special Education, Masters of Education Degree in Special Education and an Education Specialist Degree is School Administration and Supervision from MTSU.  She taught at Thurman Francis and Smyrna Middle for fourteen years.  She holds a Tennessee State Principal and Supervision’s License.  She currently serves on the State of Tennessee Non-Public School Advisory Council and Rutherford County Schools Community Pre-K Advisory Committee. She has served as an evaluator of public schools throughout the state of Tennessee through the Southern Association Accreditation of Schools. She has served on the board of The Victory House and Right Road Ministries, served as Preschool Coordinator at Life Point Church, and was employed at LIfePoint Church as Director of Women’s Ministries.  She is married to Barry Sanders.  They have two daughters, Ashley and Abby.  She and her family attend LifePoint Church. Jenny believes that God has designed every child with special gifts and talents.  It is the responsibility of Community Christian Day School to enhance and help students grow in that unique design.  Her favorite scripture is Psalms 46:10, “Be still and know that I am God.”
