Alyssa James

Alyssa graduated from MTSU with her Bachelor of Science in Early Children. Alyssa’s experience with children began when she was a teenager. She babysat family members from age 12-18.

Upon starting college, she took on a job at a daycare where she cared for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. She remained in that position for 2 years. She left the daycare once she began teaching. She has 1 year experience in kindergarten and 5 years in first grade.

Alyssa’s philosophy of education is, “I may not find the cure for cancer or create a great machine. I may not go on big adventures or do much of anything. But I hope to be one teacher who inspires the ones that do. I hope to make my difference through each child in my classroom.” Alyssa’s favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13.
